The French team wins, but it's not really "French". Only 2 or 3 players are French. It's a "world team".

So what is the purpose? It is an empty win for France. It is not like France have any reason to be proud. It is a sad win. No frenchman have any reason to cheer for its national team or to commemorate the victory.

At least argentinians have their proud. In football, France wins, but Argentina is the moral winner.
