Python c'est ultra lent surtout, et ce sera jamais aussi puissant que du C++
Après c'est facile à apprendre tellement c'est du simplifié... C'est le point positif.

la majorité des "grand" projet ne sont pas du python pure, en general il utilise des binding en c/c++ donc c'est deja mieux qu'un lib python pure, et utilise aussi Cython et pypy
